Reporting a problem

The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed:

• What you were doing when it happened, step by step.
• What you expected, and what happened instead.
• Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
• The app name and version number.
• A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.

Please don't include private personal content in a bug report. We don't need it, and we'd rather not have it.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

On your device and in your own iCloud account. Prayers you add to a Circle are shared through Apple’s CloudKit service with the people invited to that Circle. We don't send your content to a server of ours. See the privacy policy for detail.

How do I back up my data?

Keep iCloud Backup turned on in iOS Settings, or make an encrypted backup to your computer. Because our apps store data on your device, your device backup is your backup.

What happens if I delete an app?

Its data is deleted with it. There is no copy on our end to restore from, so restore from a device backup if you need it back.

Do I need an account?

No. There's nothing to sign up for and no password to forget.

What does Wellspring Premium include?

Your private prayer journal is free. Wellspring Premium unlocks Circles, where you can create or join private groups, share prayers and follow-up notes, and celebrate answered prayers together.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open a Premium screen in Wellspring Journal and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account that made the original purchase.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then choose Wellspring Journal. Apple manages subscription billing and cancellation.

What happens when Premium ends?

Your private journal remains available. Existing Circle content remains readable, but creating, joining, or changing Circle content requires an active subscription.

Can Circle members share one subscription?

No. Family Sharing is not enabled for Wellspring Premium, so each Circle member needs their own active subscription to contribute.

How do I request a refund?

Apple processes all App Store purchases and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request help with a purchase.

Feature requests

Send them. We say no to a lot of them, but always with a reason — our apps are deliberately small, and keeping them that way is the point. Requests that make an app simpler have a much better chance than requests that add screens.

Accessibility

Our apps are built to work with Dynamic Type and VoiceOver. If you hit something that doesn't work well with an assistive feature you rely on, please tell us — those reports go to the front of the queue.
